This page will show a livestream of our parish masses. It will only be live for the Mass itself. The image will change so that you'll see the church. You'll need to press the play button that appears when you hover your mouse over the picture. Please get in contact if you have any problems! If you want the words of Mass, so as to follow along, you can get them here. You can find recordings of previous Masses on Vimeo.
Masses are now at normal times (see newsletter).
Prayer of Spiritual Communion
I believe that you are present in this Holy Sacrament of the altar.
I love you above all things
and I passionately desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
come spiritually into my soul
so that I may unite myself wholly to you now and forever.
based on a prayer of St Alphonsus Liguori
We wanted to give people the opportunity to continue giving to the parish, despite not having a physical collection basket. If you'd like to make a donation, you can do so using the button below. If you have a PayPal account you can use this and if not just choose the donate by card option. You can also Gift Aid your donation. All donations will go into the St Francis Parish account and be shared between our two parishes. Very many thanks for your kindness and generosity.
Pope Francis has invited everyone to take part in the Laudato si’ Year, which is promoted by the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development and runs from 24 May 2020 until 24 May 2021. “I invite all people of goodwill to take part, to care for our common home and our most vulnerable brothers and sisters.”
Pope Francis has also announced a special prayer dedicated to the Laudato si’ Year.
Here are a few spiritual resources that you might find helpful at this time:

It’s an informal conversation about living the Christian faith, with some Catholic history, the lives of the saints, Christian teaching, spiritual traditions, practical tips for everyday life, contemporary issues facing the Church and the world, some Q&A and interviews.
