Weekly Newsletter

10th September 2020

Mass on Monday (14 September) will be at 7pm.

Many people have asked how the changes to government rules announced this week will affect attendance at church. We continue to be able to have the same capacity as previously. If you're wanting to socialise with other parishioners outside the church after Mass, the new guidance is that you should avoid doing so with more than six people unless you all live together (or are in the same support bubble).

The compliance obligations on us in relation to track and trace are now stronger. Please continue to attend Mass only if you have previously registered. We have capacity at all Masses and you can register at josephfrancis.org/return

If you are away or unable to attend, please notify Elaine - elaine@josephfrancis.org.uk

The second collection this weekend is for the Holy Places (the collection that would normally have taken place on Good Friday).
The Collection for the Holy Land, in the words of Paul VI is "not only for the Holy Places but above all for those pastoral, charitable, educational, and social works which the Church supports in the Holy Land for the welfare of their Christian brethren and of the local communities.

You can give to this using the labelled basket as you go into church or through the online donation button on our website (adding a note that this is for the Holy Places).

From next week Elaine will be sending out this weekly email with news from the parish. Any items for inclusion should be sent to her by 10am on Mondays.
